Currently, there are many species of mulberry trees that can be found all over the world. The mulberry tree is actually original in Eastern and Central China and years later it began being spread in Europe too. Well, nowadays, the mulberry tree can be found in many parts of the world. However, there are two main species of the mulberry tree which are most popular and they include the native red mulberry, also known by the name of Morus Rubra, and the Asian white mulberry, known as Morus Alba. The black mulberry has also been very well known around the word.

Well, there are numerous interesting facts about the mulberry tree. For starter, you should know that the mulberry tree height is going to vary depending on the main species. The white mulberry tree is the highest one, growing up to 80 feet tall. The black mulberry tree is the smallest one, as it most commonly grows up to 30 feet high. However, to be able to grow naturally, the mulberry tree needs a lot of space and sun. Until fruits are formed by the mulberry tree, many years will pass, while sometimes it can take up to 10 years to grow fruits. Specialists recommend for mulberry trees to be planted at about 15 feet from each other, to have enough space to grow and develop beautifully.

Anyway, a mulberry tree is going to grow fast when the plant is still young, while the growing process will then slow considerably. The mulberry tree will grow well when the environment is a warm one. Patience is required when growing mulberry trees, as the process is not very simple. However, growing mulberry trees for their tasty fruits is always a great idea. Fruits appearance will vary from one mulberry tree specie to another, while for most species the color varies from white to green or pale yellow, when fruits are raw, and red or dark purple, when the fruits are ripen. Black fruits can also be found at some mulberry tree species. Anyway, the fruits are incredible tasty, while the mulberry tree is a beautiful one.
